Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival Calgary Your Canadian Rockies Vacation starts today with your arrival into Calgary. You will make your own way to your hotel in Calgary and depending on when you arrive, take the day to explore the city famous for it’s annual Stampede.Day 2 – Banff National Park – Calgary to Banff National Park/Canmore
This morning enjoy breakfast at the hotel where you will meet up with your fellow travelers and tour director. You will then head out as a group to tour the sights of Calgary. Later leave the dynamic city of Calgary as you make your way into the Canadian Rocky Mountains. You’ll travel into Banff National Park where you’ll see the main highlights such as the landmark Fairmont Banff Springs hotel, Bow Falls and Tunnel Mountain. This evening you will be taken to your hotel in Canmore for your 2 night stay.
Day 3 – Banff National Park
Enjoy a full day to explore the town of Banff and it’s many museums, gift shops and boutique stores. Or you can also choose to do an optional tour to explore the turquoise waters of Lake Louise and the beautiful glaciers of the Columbia Icefields. You will be offered the tour option from your tour director who will make these arrangements on your behalf, the optional tour would be paid for locally. Overnight in Banff.
Day 4 – British Columbia’s Yoho Park - Canmore to Kamloops Travel the Trans Canada Highway as your guided coach takes you into the province of British Columbia. Travel through Glacier National Park and several different mountain ranges such as the Monashee and Selkirk. Your next stop on this Canada Vacation package is BC’s interior town of Kamloops.
Day 5 – The four-season resort town of Whistler - Kamloops to Whistler
Travel across the ranchlands of the interior to the west coast mountains and the resort town of Whistler. Enjoy the remainder of your day as you stroll through the town of Whistler with it’s many shops and cafes. You may choose the optional flight seeing tour over Garibaldi Park. Overnight in Whistler.
Day 6 - Sea-to-Sky Highway - Whistler to Vancouver
Your Canadian Vacation tour package sends you south along the spectacular highway to the coastal city of Vancouver. You’ll enjoy a sightseeing tour of Vancouver before arriving at your city hotel. Highlights include historic Gastown, Stanley Park, English Bay and Chinatown. The afternoon is at your leisure to explore more of the city on own. Overnight in Vancouver.
Day 7 - Cosmopolitan Vancouver
Spend the day shopping on Robson Street, biking or walking around Stanley Park’s seawall, or exploring one of the many museums or galleries in Vancouver. An optional tour for today is to travel over to Vancouver Island and the capital city of Victoria. Included with this optional tour is round-trip coach & ferry and a visit to the beautiful Butchart Gardens. Overnight in Vancouver.
Day 8 - Depart Vancouver
Upon check out of your hotel in Vancouver your Western Canada Vacation Package comes to an end. You’ll make your own way to Vancouver International Airport.
