And the Kananaskis River is the perfect river for a family - stunningly beautiful, and exciting enough to make it interesting and not too scary. Overnight in Banff.
Note on activities: Unless stated, each active excursion takes roughly either a morning or an afternoon (as you choose) - and the rest of the day is free for you to explore or relax on your own. If any of the activities in this itinerary are not your cup of tea - don’t worry. Simply ask your consultant to substitute other activities when you book your Canada family vacation. Also sometimes these activities do have minimum age restrictions on them so we may suggest alternatives as well.
Day 3 - Sundance Loop Trail Ride on Vacations in Canada

Whistler also has excellent hotels, restaurants and nightlife. Overnight in Whistler.
Day 10 - Ziptrekking on Canada Family Vacations
Imagine flying through the tree-tops and across rushing rivers and you will have a pretty good idea of what ‘Ziptrekking’ is all about. It’s totally safe - but when you are standing on the edge of a platform 100ft high your mind doesn’t know that! Overnight Whistler.
