Interior as you make your way to the Rocky Mountain town of Jasper. Once there, you’ll spend five glorious days exploring the untouched forests, sparkling lakes and roaring rivers found throughout this national park. Take in more pristine beauty in Banff and Lake Louise while watching for wildlife at every turn.

Day 1 – Arrive in Vancouver
Vancouver is considered to be one of the most desirable places to live in the world – it is rich with culture, art, and cuisine while being surrounded by wild mountains, oceans and forests. Walk out of the airport and right into a private vehicle. Your driver will help orient you to our hometown.

Did you know Vancouver is one of the top culinary destinations in the world? We want to make sure you don’t eat at the tourist trap restaurant across the street from your hotel, rather have the best dining experience in a beautiful setting. Included is a meal at a scenic waterfront location – one of our favorite dining spots!
Day 2 – Rocky Mountaineer Train – Vancouver to Kamloops
Climb aboard the luxurious Rocky Mountaineer train this morning and sip a steaming cup of coffee as you watch the skyscrapers of Vancouver disappear in the distance. Enter the lush and fertile Fraser Valley and head out onto the viewing platform of the train to enjoy panoramic views. Spend the night in the interior of British Columbia, enjoying the welcoming small-city hospitality of Kamloops.
Day 3 – Kamloops to Jasper
As the jagged peaks of the Rockies start to appear in the distance, the feeling of excitement and anticipation grows. Traveling closer on the train, you notice the enormous mountains dominating the horizon – their snow-capped tops pierce the blue sky. As the train carries you to Jasper, you will learn about the history of the Canadian railroad while keeping an eye out for Rocky Mountain wildlife. When you arrive in the quiet and peaceful mountain town of Jasper, enjoy a comfortable night in your hotel.
Day 4 – Explore Jasper
Spend the day exploring the jewel of the Rockies, Jasper. You have 3 options to choose from today, to help you enjoy Jasper to its fullest.
• Option 1: Nature Tour with Cruise on Maligne Lake
Visit the beautiful natural wonder of Maligne Lake with your friendly local tour guide. Walk along Maligne Canyon, where the raging river has eroded the rock for thousands of years. Visit Medicine Lake and the tranquil blue-green waters of Maligne Lake, where you will take a boat cruise to scenic Spirit Island.
Activity rating: Easy
• Option 2: Privately Guided Nature Walk
Track wildlife, admire rare alpine wildflowers, and see magnificent valley views with one of the best, hand-picked mountain guides in Jasper. Enjoy a leisurely pace, and plenty of time for photos and discussion.
Activity rating: Moderate (approx. 4 miles) – more challenging hikes are also available on request.
• Option 3: Sidecar Motorcycle Tour
Explore winding mountain roads and beautiful scenery on a thrilling sidecar motorcycle tour (for 1 or 2 passengers).

Day 5 – Icefields Parkway from Jasper to Lake Louise
Today journey along the Icefields Parkway to Lake Louise, one of the most legendary mountain roads in the world. You’ll see aqua green lakes and rivers, glaciers, as well as wildlife.
Here are 2 options for exploring the Parkway:
• Option 1: Small Group Sightseeing Tour
With a small group and guide, explore the Icefields and its main attractions. Stop to enjoy a picnic lunch, walk on the Athabasca Glacier, and marvel at the Glacier Skywalk.

• Option 2: Private Icefields Tour with Helicopter Experience
Spend the day with your own private guide, to explore the Icefields at your own pace. Then, step away from the crowds and take a helicopter tour to soar above pristine lakes, glaciers and waterfalls from an Icefields base.

Upon arrival in the Lake Louise area, you can either choose to stay at the iconic Chateau Lake Louise, or at the intimate Moraine Lake Lodge.

No matter how you choose to tour, this evening you’ll relax and refresh with an indulgent dining experience. Surrounded by spectacular lake views and attentive service, indulge in a 3-course meal in Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise’s Fairview Dining Room, or Moraine Lake’s Walter Wilcox Dining Room.
Day 6 – Lake Louise
It’s up to you today... simply relax, soak in the views, and enjoy free time. Or, ask us for our Lake Louise Activity Menu, from which you can choose activities such as a guided hike to Lake Agnes Tea House, a scenic ride up the Lake Louise Sightseeing Gondola with a visit to the Wildlife Interpretive Centre, or Afternoon Tea at the Chateau.
In the afternoon you will head to the lively mountain town of Banff with your guide, on an interpretive transfer. Enjoy the happy and welcoming vibe here as you peruse the quirky boutiques of Banff Avenue or hike along the many scenic trails.
Day 7 – Exploring Banff
On a crisp Rocky Mountain morning you will wake up to the sounds of mountain songbirds before exploring this lovely town and the surrounding wilderness.
You have 3 options to choose from today, to help you enjoy Banff to its fullest.
• Option 1: Banff Sightseeing Tour
Find out why Banff has become so famous - explore historic sights, hear the folklore, and visit the town’s beautiful view points on a 3 hour tour.

• Option 2: Privately Guided Sunrise Photography Tour
Wake up early to experience the magical wilderness of Banff National Park at sunrise. Explore with a private guide and learn how to take great photos. Ideal for the amateur photographer wanting to increase their skills with a manual camera. This is a sure way to make friends and family at home jealous!

• Option 3: Banff Helicopter Tour
Soar above majestic peaks and get away from the crowds of Banff. Marvel at pristine and breathtaking vistas that will leave you speechless. Tours are also available with the picnic only.

Insider tip: We’ve included admission to the Banff Gondola today. We recommend an evening gondola ride, once the crowds have dispersed for the day. As you glide through the air, the panoramic vistas at the summit will completely take your breath away.
Day 8 – Departing from Calgary
Say goodbye to the pristine and beautiful Rocky Mountains as you depart from Banff, heading to the Calgary airport. You have made some amazing memories over the past week that you will treasure for many years.
